 Opium tea and hiccups.

I almost never get hiccups. I've even gone years at a time without getting them as far as I can recall.
Nearly everytime I drink opium tea I get a serious cases of the hiccups. Nothing else has that effect on me. I find it strange.
Anyone else do this or have any thoughts on the matter?

Only from excessive beer consumption in a short period of time will i get the hiccups. Never had the tea before so i can't relate much

Yes, every time I do heroin I get them. Most definitely if I take a big hit of weed and cough, I'll get the hiccups for hours...
It's not just you, it's the opiates man... You'll soon find out there are hundreds of qwerks like this that you will start to notice in a pattern with usage...
At least you notice like I did right away! How about the sneezing when you haven't had any opiates for a while? Ya get those?

How about the yawns? Watery eyes? Goosebumps? Itching?
Oh man I could go on and on... Opiates fuck with my body more than any other drug I've come into contact with.

Yes to the sneezing. All the rest I expect too. It's just the hiccups that I thought odd and out of place. Apparently not huh? Nice to know. My old lady has been picking on me about them.

I was withdrawling for 6 days last week and I was sneezing my ass off and just thought it was allergies never put 2 and 2 together. I never knew that it causes sneezing thats weird.

The hiccups I was speaking of are while drinking the tea or shortly after. When it comes to withdrawing, I do a lot more than sneeze. I feel the full range of flu like symptoms. The aches are the worse. I hurt all over as if I've been beaten or way over worked. The misery alone is enough to keep me on them. If I got cravings too like many do then I would be fucked for sure. I do occasionally get a strong craving for a hit to slam but that is more of a want than a real need.

Yea I get all the symptoms as well the worst for me is the backache and restless legs.

I don't get restless legs but it is my legs that hurt the worst of all. I hurt from head to toe though. Fingers are nearly as bad as my legs and back. They swell and become arthritic feeling.
I'm feeling no pain atm however thanks to a few mugs from the espresso machine.
