He's my first pet in nearly 2yrs.
He was wandering if the camera was food  You can see his curiosity progress through the first three pics.

I have a Colombian Red Tail myself. She is about 8 foot long right now. Snakes make awesome pets.

Anacondas get huge, they really push the limits of practicality for a pet. Maybe a smaller python species that you could feed dead chickens and rabbits?

Not only that but Anacondas are not typically a tame species. And feeding them can get expensive in the adult years.
Right now im feeding my Boa frozen thawed dead mice, and when he gets bigger I'd like to train him to eat without a strike to further take the aggression out.
Aggression in big snakes is easy to overlook when looking at pictures, but when your eye to eye with the creature, it can be a lot more intimidation.

I have a 5-foot ball python. I would take a picture, but he's hiding right now. It takes down HUGE rats.
