Any idea how the cops got tipped in the first place? I'd be pretty worried about my friends and shit if you have no idea.

there was an incident that i wont go into involving people nearby, lots of guns and things, they said they needed to step in teh doorway for cover to approach a certain position.

Well I got that, but what tipped them off that you were growing weed though? I still don't understand that. You said that it was in another room behind closed doors. I'm assuming you have some kind of odor control so they wouldn't smell it. I just can't see how they found out, based on what you've said, without being tipped off.

He just held off going for like 7 months then i told him he just needed to get it over with.....

Here's what you should have done:  When the cops/SWAT team/whatever needed to use your apartment in the first place, deny them permission.  You said that they were going to use it whether you gave permission or not, right?

If they'd used it without consent, then their discovery of the grow-op would be illegal; they couldn't get a search warrant or prosecute even though they saw the grow-op.

But you gave consent (which is something you should never EVER under ANY circumstances do when dealing with police) so now you're in a shitty situation of your own making.  Use this as a learning experience and try not to fuck yourself in the ass next time.

i'm on informal probation.  doesnt matter what i say.

problem is solved though, i worked out a deal with a friend to trade some clones and things for the $ to go get my card, got an appointment with doc on sunday.  will cut down to 6 plants (got 10 or so right now) and be good.
