Trying to calibrate my scale !
    #11585 - 04/24/08 12:22 PM (15 years, 11 months ago)

I can't get my scale to recalibrate itself.
-I turn it on
-hit the mode button
-get the calibrate to come up
-it says put 50g , i do that [ by using 10 nickels :commonsense:  ]
-then it says i fail...

wtf could i be doing wrong ?

Depending on how far down your scale goes, nickles have veriances in wieght...Prolly O.K. for a .1 scale, but for anything lower, you need the calibration wieghts that were prolly an option when you bought the scale.
I have many cal. wieghts for my various scales..nickles don't even come close...worth every penny for the weights!!
Peace

Maybe you can get the weights for that scale...you're going to need 550g's worth of wieght..the top-end of your scale.
My 250g X .1 uses (2) 100g wieghts, and a 50g wieght. Calibration takes place at the 100g,200g, and 250g marks...a succession of calibrations...
Same with my .01, and my .001 scales...the only one I don't have weights for is my Postal scale...goes up to 35 lbs!!

Peace

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.

And that is Jerry, rising from the ashes, with people Dancing...

I prefer to think of it as them running in terror from Jerry's evil vengence. :hehehe:
