I'd be worried about what the butane might possibly dissolve out of the plastic, definitely nothing I would want to smoke if it did.

Did you try it on an empty pen to see if it left any residue after evaporation?

yep it leaves nothing at all :wink: it can be done in a glass tube or similar, this was the way I was taught so its how I explained it, if anyone is worried at all please feel free you use glass, I swim professionally and my lungs are perfect and I smoke this often, and have been for the past 5 or so years and have had no ill side effects.

if you're going to do it consistently i would definitely get a metal tube of the same dimensions, shouldn't be too difficult at all.  hell, i'm sure you can even get a metal pen for a couple bucks.  just better off safe than sorry.  there are some nasty carcinogens out there in everyday products.

Well its usually between 1 and 1.5 but it depends on how hard you pack it in the tube I like to pack it nice and snug, but not squashed in

When hash is made here only the trichomes is used to do that and refining any further in my opinion is impossible,
you may make hash another way or call it something else over their but down under hash is produced from trichomes and can not be refined any further...well in a lab maybe

um, no, see what you don't understand is the chemical process behind making honey oil.  Solvent hash extracts only thc from the trichome glands on the plant.  Since pressed hash is just collected heads that have been pressed together, the solvent extracts the THC from the hash and leaves you with oil.

It is possible, it has been done before, you can do it using your extraction tube.  Like i said though, it's a waste IMO.
