 Stupid Question

I know that putting chemicals on things that you want to smoke is no good. However, I cleaned my clogged piece with Simple Green and water by letting it soak in a baggie with the solution. (As recommended by a friend, I don't usually clean it by soaking it in anything.) It was still clogged after I soaked it, so I stuck a tooth pick up the hole and out came this big ball of resin.
Now, I'm not dry, so I'm not desperate to smoke this resin, but why waste it? My question is: since I soaked the piece in Simple Green, said resin also has been soaked in Simple Green. Is it safe to smoke it still or will I just be smoking cleaning agents?
ALSO, if smoking Simple Green is hazardous, should I wash my piece with like soap and water before I smoke out of it?

It consists mainly of the burned-up sugars from the plant.

it contains trace amounts of actives, mainly whatever little bit of vegetative matter that slipped through.
It's not resin, it's tar. Resin = hash. Tar = the crap left in your bowl. Would you clean a tobacco pipe out and smoke the gunk you scraped out?

It's not that stupid a question. A lot of people do smoke their tar to get high. It works, it's just nasty and filthy. I haven't done it in a couple years.
But yeah, definitely no smoking the soapy tar.

My cousin and my mother like smoking "resin". I think it's nasty and I'd rather go without for a while than smoke tar.
You use chemicals to clean your dishes, which you put your food on/in, so I don't think smoking out of your piece will hurt you any. Don't smoke that tar though.

i have smoked tar and gotten incredibly fucking high. especially cause i only smoke dank out of my pipes. it tastes horrible and is filthy, but i get bloody ripped from resin/tar hits.

I've actually rolled up enough tar where it kinda looks like the hash some people get. Doesn't taste like it but it does get me blazed.
I need some hash.

I agree. Back in more desperate times I'd get a little ball of tar and it would wreck me.
But than again I pulled through too quickly back than.
All about controlling your breathing to burn as much as possible before pulling through.

to be honest, The only reason Agony thought it was resin is because I'm the one who told her. I honestly thought that's what it was. Same color! I'm not smoking that shit no more.
