This guy is lucky he didn't have me as a student. I would have constantly called him out and thrown endless amounts of logic at him until he was forced to remove me from the class.

I have no problem with the idea of intelligent design, but any intelligent proponent of intelligent design recognizes that it doesn't contradict the theory of evolution, but rather supplements it.
The fact that evolutionary history can be very accurately traced through the background mutations in the non-conserved regions of the ribosome is a pretty hard bit of evidence to refute.

well for one there has never been evidence to show for uphill evolution. only downhill, traits such as non functioning appendages, loss of appendages ect. Never have we seen evidence of a case in which we see a species gain a new organ that is beneficial to the species. We also see in the fossil record distinct species not mutations between the too. Evolution merely suggests that it must be, not that there is sufficient evidence to support such.
I still believe partly in evolution but the theory is full of flaws and it angers me because most people who believe in evolution are no better than the evangelicals following blinding without any real knowledge of the subject.
Let's not go any further on the subject if we will. Every time the debate is started no real debating takes place, instead it turn into a shit flinging contest with no winners. If either side could prove the other wrong we would know by now.
