without some overly gnarly effects happening and totally debilitating me in the worst way.
i get shit like i feel as though i'm experiencing the world as a slideshow. like if someone walks in the room, i see them in the doorway, then suddnely they are halfway across the room, no blue, just a frame-by-frame. a car ride is like a flash of being outside the car, suddenly i'm in the car and its moving, then all of the sudden i'm somewhere, but who the hell knows where, and people are talking to me.
i also will realize at an unknown interval that i have no idea where i am, how i got there, or what i am doing. it usually happens if i'm home and i got to make food right after i smoke. i'll be cooking something and then suddnely i'm hit with this feeling like i have no idea what i'm doing or why, or how i got in the kitchen or who is in my house. WTF MAN. it's bad enough that i cannot carry a conversation with a person, i just end up curling up in bed waiting for it to go away. i've done other shit and weed still is just too much for me to handle sometimes  this always happens if i smoke anything more than the tiniest little flake i can pull off with my fingernails that wont fall straight out of the bottom of the bowl piece. i shit you not.

i thought it was just that i was a noob but i mean i spent a whole summer smoking dank by the ounce. i am not exaggerating, i would pick up halves and ounces multiple times a week and smoke myself silly trying to get a tolerance but it never worked. so i gave up smoking weed for months. now i'm trying to figure out again how to get high without being dysfunctional but i just have not been able to be successful...

I use to get strobe vision when I first started smoking. I miss it to tell you the truth.

nah man because i can't toke up with my friends or else everyone is sitting around chillin and i'm a little downs syndrome monkey in the corner trying to grasp onto reality. :-( i want to be able to smoke and still be able to drive / talk / eat / internet / understand what the hell is going on around me

you have to build up your tolerance. If you dont like being really high then dank might not be for you, get some shwag son

im in southern california, i honestly have only been able to find shwag once a year and a half ago. besides that, neither i nor anyone i know has the faintest idea where to get less-than-coasty nugs. it sux :-(

but i was almost in the same situation as you, only this was when i first started smoking.
get weed from somewhere else and see how much of a difference there is

That sounds pretty intense...maybe you just have an extremely low tolerance for cannabis. You could try smoking more often, developing a tolerance, and maybe it will become more enjoyable.
