Anyone get chest pains after smoking ?

When it happens its about 20 minutes or so after Im done smoking and then can come and go for an hour.  Ill be fine and then take a breath and get this stabbing pain to where I can't inhale and feels like I can't breath and then it goes away as fast as it came.

This is BATS's friend. I get chest pain and tingling on my face and arms when I smoke. Do you have any panic disorders/anxiety? That's what causes it for me.

Ended up having to stop smoking altogether but it's not that difficult when it causes that kinda shit to happen.

I'd get it checked out by a doctor either way.

i wouldn't mention to your doctor that you smoke weed. my friend supposedly did this and the doctor informed her insurance company who dropped her. now the bitch can't get health insurance.

Yeah, chances are it's related to the deep inhalations, not the actual smoking of cannabis.  Unless you've got a chill doctor, telling them you smoke weed is just a ticket to them writing your problem off as drug-related, rather than figuring out what's wrong.

I think thats it  I kind of have a bad habit of taking a huge hit everytime and holding it in.

I would bet its the deep inhalations too.  I get sharp chest pains every once in a while when I try to take a huge hit and hold it in.  Happens more often with vapor than with smoke as I can hold the vapor in much longer and inhale it much deeper.  I'm healthy enough that I don't believe it's heart problems unless its genetic.

i think that may be a big reason why i haven't filled out my health insurance papers yet.  kind of iffy about mentioning that i'm a prescribed marijuana smoker

It's just your lungs protesting the abuse. Cut back on smoking everything and I'll bet it goes away. If it doesn't, maybe you ought to see a doc.

ontopic: I get chest pains every so often. But its on the right side of my chest so that kind of rules out heart. It doesn't happen that often... and usually in combination with being really tired (which also gives me musclee spasms).
