I loved pogs. I remember we had to stop playing cause of the gambling thing. It was because everyone wanted to play for "keeps" and kids would get upset. So would parents who were shelling out all the money. I was a big fan of the slammers that we called "keenies" I loved playing for keenie keeps, it got to the point where I had way more keenies than actual pogs.
Now that I look back at it, the whole gambling thing was pretty fucking stupid. Why couldn't kids play pogs? Because some would lose, they need to be sheltered from that possibility. Grown ups ruin everything fun.

i remember once in school, some kid made a pog out of a picture of a tittie he probably got from playboy or something and I thought it wasn't the funniest shit in the world. i nearly pissed myself when I saw it.

i remember there was this little kid maybe 4 years younger then me and would always do what i did. one day i decided to convince him to get into pogs so he did and got his parent to buy him all this shit, little rich kid, and invited him over with a few other friends. we then took all his shit. i think we might have even bent the rules to our liking.
