so i saw the dark knight

The joker just made the goddamn movie....... it was really good, but heath ledger's acting was just icing on the fucking cake. The subtle smacking of the lips and weird behavior, it was just astounding how much time he put into his character.......... it's a shame ledger's dead, but it somehow seems very appropriate. :shrug:

There are so many good movies which aren't remakes of classics out there.

I saw it three times now. Once with my brother, once with the family, and once blazed with friends. The third was the most enjoyable. :stoned:

I've also seen it three times.

Best 30 dollars I've spent so far + the stolen fuzzy peaches I ate.

I actually didn't want to see it the 2nd or third time but it was still awesome.

Ledger was godly playing that part. Tons of my friends were saying it's all hype because he's dead but omg he deserves the nobel prize for anything he wishes for that legendary preformance.

haha I agree. I hated that everyone was demanding he get a oscar win before they even saw his performance, but now that we all see that he was indeed incredible, i know he will definitely get a nom, if not the win.

I've never been too fond of him. I liked The Patriot, but that had little to do with him, and A Knight's Tale was actually pretty fun to watch, but yeah, I never considered him to be a great actor until The Dark Knight. His new movie with Johnny Depp, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus sounds sick though.

The Imaginarium and Dark Knight roles are what many believe to be what drove him into depression, or even madness.

He was abusing all of the Rx i listed. He locked himself up in a hotel room with the comic books and practiced voices, and a friend of mine told me (this part is entirely a rumor) that he got all fucked up and watched videos of AIDs patients crying while telling their loved ones of their conditions until he could laugh at them.

The Dark Knight gets five pot leafs, i'd give it more if possible. Awesome fuckin movie, Each role was played to perfection even Harvey Dent. The Joker though...best acting role of 2008 hands down.
