A guy I work with has some weed that he's selling, and I was curious if you guys have tried em. One's called diesel, not sour diesel as far as I'm aware, and the other is Flo-Jo.
He's selling them for 60 a cut, which I know is a rip-off for most of you guys, but we don't get much good weed around here, so it's actually pretty reasonable.

oh haha. thats not terrible. i sell eighths for 60 but they are top notch. people need to realize that inflation effects the weed economy too.

diesel probably refers to the original NYC Diesel strain. Calling it diesel is pretty generic though, there's too many varieties of it out there to know for certain. Certain pheno's of the NYCD have a strong grapefruit smell/taste.
Flo-Jo sounds like a cross, don't know what the jo stands for, but there's a strain out there called flo. In fact i have 5 seeds of it sitting in wait.

if it's the real deal i'd say fuck the flo jo and get a q of the diesel. It's one of my top five faves, was a fuck ton of fun to grow too

no doubt, don't take my word as bond though. Check out both, see if he'll give you a sample hit from each strain. Figure out for yourself what you like better. Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to choosing herb

this inflation shit shouldnt affect the weed market unless the people involved have gasoline as their main expense. fact is the drug trade is by no means that closely tied to other things that it would go up so drastically as it has been.

dunno. i had a good guy when i smoked a lot, so maybe that has something to do with it. but it sure seems like everyone i know of is charging more than they used to. doitagain is charging $20 for a gram! ludicrous!

Yeah, that's just crazy. But when I hear someone charging $20 a gram, I figure that's the stuff they're selling for suckers.
If it's that bad, ask about getting a little more weight. I get about a 40% discount from the price of an eigth buying a half-oz at a time. And in my state at least, a half oz is the same as an eighth, either can get you a minor ticket and a fine, nothing major.

in my area dank goes for 20$/gm because most dealers don't want to be arsed with breaking up an 1/8. 50-60$/eighth has been the standard price for dank for as long as i can remember. Hell, chemdawg paid 500$/oz of the weed which produced his flagship cut. And that was all the way back in the late 80's to early 90's iirc.
Sure, prices are going to be lower if you have a good connection who's willing to cut you a deal, or if you live in canada. But look at club prices, even in places where it's legal to buy you can pay upwards of 70$/eighth.

i used to get $165/half and it was good stuff. that was about a year ago, and it was a reliable connect until he went away to college 
and the aforementioned 20/g is already given to him in individual bags, its not about being 'arsed to break up an 8th'. thank god my plants are growing :-)
