Two Scoops Coffee Grounds Blender Shake.
High Again!
It's ridiculous how I can get coffee but not Buds!
I'm totally sick of Fasting, too.

I'm up all night studying Traditional Chinese Medicine.
That's something I enjoy and it's hella productive.

I am still studying Emotions and Flowering into how External Environment can also cause or compound disease.

Coffee and buds is a phenomenal fucking combo.
I hope you find a connect soon.

I greatly miss dosing an edible piece of chocolate early in the morning and slowly coming up as I drank my coffee, or smoking a hit or two off a pipe... One of these days I will return to my beloved Mary...

I have a french press stanley thermos I've been using for years, I especially like Community coffee in it. Sippin on a hot cuppa that, chocalatey resin on your taste buds, or that deep piney cannabis smoke taste. Gosh what a combo.

I used to eat kratom and drink coffee and they are very synergistic as well. I might go pick up a small bag of it soon.

I desperately need to start fasting again. Last time I fasted, I would go the whole day empty and would only have one meal in the evening. I got down to 186lbs, hard to believe, still needed to take off more.
I fell off and gave up a year ago, I'm back up to 212lbs. Beer is my biggest problem. I get drunk and then my inhibition goes out the window, munchies on booze is worse than dope.  I've quit drinking a thousand times.
Last summer I did it for a while, I would legit fast for two days and have 1 meal the third. You get tired and very cold, but the weight just melted off of me. I got to the 190s in less than two weeks. That kind of fatigue is unsustainable in maintaining any kind of productivity and clarity though.

The full(er) moon tonight is giving me that feeling that only Texas can. What a rich place. I wish people werent in such a hurry to destroy all the history here. I'm currently feeling a deep nostalgia for my past.

Alcohol is weird like that.

It causes the body to immediately halt processing other sources of calories, so drinking and snacking means that most of the food you're eating gets treated as excess calories and stored as fat.

The processing of alcohol causes imbalances in signaling molecules that control fat metabolism in the body, which can lead to low blood sugar and resulting hunger signals that come with it. Combined with the disinhibition effects on the brain, alcohol puts you into high risk of apocalyptic munchies attack.

Its fun, but just an absolute bad from a health perspective. Most modern studies agree that even stuff like a glass of red wine with your dinner is still not actually good for you.

Thanks for that, I appreciate the knowledge. It makes a lot of sense, as when I'm sober, even if I dont watch what I eat, I tend to maintain whatever my current weight is at the time, and If I fall off the wagon, I balloon the fuck up again.
I know it aint good for me, but thats drugs, aint it? Luckily I've gotten it down to a 24oz can or two in the evening, which still is overindulgent, but at least it's not a six pack of tall boys... Its a matter of will at this point, and I keep shirking it like a bitch.

Oh for sure, no judgement from me on drinking. I also partake regularly.

I tend to drink less and feel better when I feel comfortable vaping or taking edibles. My current job performs random piss tests, so I don't grow or partake as much as I used to.

Someday I'll get back to that lifestyle.

The piss tests are the bane of my existence. I'm too chicken shit to try to fake one.

I remember asking my uncle about when they started. They all used to do all kinds of shit on and off the clock, and everything was fine. He had a particularly funny story about giving a crane operator a dose of shroom tea out of his thermos, who promptly walked off the job and never returned! Had some kind of profound epiphany and went and did something else, he ran into him years later.

They want to act like they're doing the world some kind of service by keeping everyone sober, and then hire some third-worlder who dont know what the fuck he's doing and people get hurt anyways...
My dad said the old timers at his plant said the worst thing they ever did was implement the drug test policy. Used to be a lot better.

My neighbor told me about how he and his brother were scaffold builders, and would burn a joint during their lunch break. One day they came back and the boss jumped all over them because they were laughing and having a good time while they were walking with some materials. It always stuck with him, thateven though they were working they were happy and enjoying themselves, but it drew the ire of their boss since they werent as miserable as he was.

When I started working I couldnt believe how massive of an industry it was. Those clinics are huge and everywhere. People shouldve revolted against that kind of shit a long time ago. Talk about trampling all over your rights.

I started learning TCM so I would be qualified to teach Tai Chi.
Tai Chi is often prescribed as a Medicine!
I love to study the energetic differences of Men and Women.  I have a great book on Obstetrics/Gynecology.  I have a decent TCM library now.  I know a bunch of women who are regulars with the UTIs.  Also, my sister had horrible PMS Pain!

Reinforcing these basics I have been learning.
I took a Tangent Today and started reading a new Book I just got on the Psyche in TCM!
It goes into exhaustive detail about some basic concepts.
I got a Book on Diagnosis, one on Treatment with Acupuncture and Herbs, and I am waiting on Meridians and Points!  Peace.  Mike.

If you're interested in studying energy and medicine, you might really appreciate Wilhelm Reich and his orgone/orgonomy theory

I'm not as supportive about being under the influence in a hazardous work environment, but I definitely feel as though I should be able to grow and consume my own cannabis when I'm off the clock. As long as I'm not driving around or showing up to work high or drunk, it shouldn't be anyone else's business what I do in my free time. I mean hell, growing or consuming cannabis is legal in my state.

Absolutely, I agree wholeheartedly.

Navigating the issue of people working and operating equipment under the influence of substances is a very individualistic issue, as I've witnessed people whom I trust to do just fine and known others who I wouldnt.

But your point about doing what you like in your free time as opposed to on the clock is spot on, and I really dont know how people fail to grasp the hypocrisy of how its acceptable in this society that one is allowed to get as drunk as possible and abuse pharmaceuticals in their off time, and they're trusted to function normally hungover and strung out on the clock, but cannabis along with many other drugs isnt viewed in the same light.

I'm very stubborn when it comes to the issue of freedom, because I know freedom is dangerous and has real consequences, to the point many arent willing to accept.

I had a friend who had a friend who worked as a postal delivery guy in Kansas City, Missouri.
He drank a lot.
Once a year for his vacation, he would visit my friend in Hollywood to Snort Cocaine!

If you're too hung over or reliant on the existing supply chain to keep your addictions fed, you're less likely to consider if the existing system still works for you and your fellow citizens. :pipesmoke:
