I have a container garden consisting of 6 five gallon, self-wicking planters and a couple of standard containers, all set up on an automated irrigation system to water consistently enough to prevent bloom-end rot. Most of the seedlings transplanted well, with the exception of the squash. I think they didn't appreciate being bare-rooted during transplant. I'll get a list of plants currently alive later today. This is on the eastern side of my house, which will protect some of the more heat-sensitive plants from the sun during the hottest parts of the day.
I also have a plot on the lower back yard that is shielded from the winds, I've planted 72 sweet corn seeds, 90 sunflower seeds, and will eventually plant something like 20 or 30 desert posole corn seeds. I also have a desert willow on the east side of that plot, and a spineless prickly pear on the west side.
I'm pretty interested in seeing how that posole corn turns out, the planting instructions said to plant it 4 or more inches down, which sounds insane. I planted between 3 and 4 inches deep, so we'll see if they pop up.
I plan to companion plant the corn and sunflowers with pole beans and maybe some basil and/or diakon radishes.

Yessir, its in the works now. Its almost the last frost date, so I'll grab some pictures once I finish cleaning things up.
