High times had this same discussion. I have the Welcome to California edition and they like the word ganja. I'd have to agree. Lol. I can't fucking stand hearing "pot." I'll type up what high times said about all the other words here in a bit.

I prefer Reefer. It's such a silly sounding word.

For example:
I smoke reefer in the reefer den with all the other reefer fiends. :grin:

It just sounds retarded. I love it! :crazy2:

Reefer is the best word for it because of the humor... and it's like the OLD word they used to use back in the day.... Reefer Madness and all that.

i used get weirded out when my mom would call it dope or pot. Haha me and my friends really picked it up though recently.... we call and say "yo i got some good dope from cali" or "yo dude i hope you made enough pot cookies for the festy!"

i was talking to a friend the other day and we brought up the subject of this guy we use to chill with and he told me that he got into DOPE and he aint worth a shit anymore. i wonder what the fuck he was talking about now?

I love referring to the marijuana as reefer, it's just flat out fun as hell to say. If I'm in an area where it needs to be inconspicuous I use the term "trees".
