 How do you clean your pipes n bongs?

I was wondering how to really clean a bong that has percolators and honeycomb thangs in em. I normally use rubbing alcohol and big salt and shake the shit out of it, but it won't reach the deepest parts of the percolator, so basically the bong will be mostly clean except the middle.
I was wondering if you guys have a miracle solution?
My current bong is pretty similar to this one that I had years ago

If it's 100% Glass you could put it in a kiln. I used to make glass pipes and I'd kiln my glass to burn up all the resin.

I don't know how much they cost these days.
If you are a fiend who smokes up all the money then it is probably out of your price range.
I know a lot of Pot Fiends can't save money.

If you do decide to get a kiln, call the fire department and ask them if it's legal first.
They are electric and you can get tiny ones.

I would guess using a stronger solution and letting it soak.

Dark crystal glass cleaner seems like it would work. When I checked the ingredients they seemed pretty benign.

Chromic Acid will not attack glass but should dissolve any organic residue. Be careful, it is a really strong acid, oxydizer, redux agent. Don't pour it down your sink when done. Don't get it on you. Wear eye protection, gloves, yada yada. Rig up a poor mans fume hood (fan behind you blowing the fumes away from you toward an open window) when working with it.
You can make chromic acid solution yourself by dissolving chromium trioxide in sulfuric acid.
Or you can buy it premade. Most chemical supply houses carry it. I think even Grainger used to carry it.

Percolators are a pain to clean, the salt and alcohol trick only gets you so far. What worked for me was letting it soak longer with hot water and iso, then using those little flexible pipe cleaners to poke around the hard spots. I also switched to using bubblers more often since they’re easier to clean and still give a smooth hit.
