My watermelon candy automatic seeds from zamnesia have just arrived and I plan on doing an outdoor grow this year, starting mid May. I have 2 and a half months before using the seeds. What is the best way to store them over this 2 month period to ensure they don’t die and become unusable? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cool, dry, dark place is fine for short term. For longer term storage you'll probably want to put them in a sealed container in the fridge with a desiccant.
Two months is somewhat short term, all things considered. I doubt you'll run into germ issues over that time if the seeds are fresh and stored properly. Long term would be a season to a year or more, I store most of my seeds like they are going to be stored for a while, because I'm never sure when I'm going to pop them.
