I don't know, just random stuff I used to do more of.
Reading up on various interests, taking better care of my plants/cacti... just little things/tasks..
I'm mostly just being dramatic, but kinda serious. When I used to get bored, I'd improvise and do something more beneficial... now I plug into the shroomery.
I suppose it's beneficial in other ways. I "socialize" and interact with other people. That's kind of lacking in my real life at the moment, so maybe I'm compensating there.
I've made some great friends, and learned a bunch of cool stuff... so there's that.
But I just don't like how it's become habitual. I have an addictive & compulsive kinda personality.

do a self-ban for a little while and just poast here when you need a poast fix
I still lurk at the shroomery but I found that it's a lot less addicting when I'm not poasting. I can lurk like once or twice a week and not feel this need to check back in all the time, but when I'm poasting there I feel the need to logon to the site multiple times a day

Yeah, I'm the exact same way. I was on a roll for about a week recently until Paw made a thread inquiring about my absence...he's the devil.
I posted once to say I was okay, and that I wasn't posting because I'd been with my brother and nephews for Halloween weekend. After that one post, it was all over... jumped off the wagon. The shroomery is a lot of fun, I love it... but there's definitely other things I could be doing that'd be more fulfilling.
Here I am complaining about too much internet... talk about a first world problem
