Loved and lost, experiencing love is an amazing thing that I wouldn't want to miss, and even though the loss sucks big donkey dick, it's also an extreme emotion that is part of being human, and I wouldn't want to miss that either.

Plus the pain of loss really inspires, some of my most creative artwork was done after a nasty breakup with a girl that I was pretty much obsessed with.

Would you rather find out this is all a simulation but still be stuck here or find out that this is not a simulation and you really only have one life to live and will be judged accordingly upon dying.

Or would you rather realise that everything you go through in this life is pre determined to balance out your karma from past lives and what you dont learn in this life you will learn in your next incarnation.

Or would you rather not know either one because ignorance is bliss.

Basically, would you rather be happy and ignorant or sad but informed?

Does it matter either way?

Option 1 : If I find out its all a simulation and I'm stuck here, then I just continue doing what I want to do. If I only have one life to live and will be judged at the end of it, then whatever is judging me at the end is a sick mother fucker who gets to sit through a lifetime of me politely telling them to go fuck themselves by just living my life the way I've been living it.

Option 2 : Kinda contradictory because if this life is predetermined, then shouldn't the lessons learned also be pre-determined? If there's no free-will, then shouldn't my thoughts also be predetermined? Either way, I don't have any control over it, and currently experience the illusion of personal autonomy, so anything that I "decide" to do, like smoking a fat joint and eating a twinkie, is predetermined and supposed to happen, so why worry about whether its my choice or some diety's predetermined plan? I'd just live my life.

Option 3 : I get to live my life thinking whatever feels right, regardless of whether its the absolute truth, and this option wouldn't result in me living my life any differently (which the exception of me not knowing that me living my life as I see fit is essentially flipping off some omnipotent being). Same outcome as the last two options.

If we were created purely for entertainment purposes then there would be nothing wrong with that at all. In fact that kind of proves we are mirror image of God because well look how humans treat other beings and even simulated ones in video games.
