To collect the pollen, cut a branch off your male just before it busts a nut, then put it in a bottle of water angled over some paper or tin foil. Pollen should drop over the next few days.
Next, dry the pollen in the open air for a few days, then pack it away in multiple storage vials with a few desiccant beads in each one. Store them in the freezer, and don't take them out until you are ready to use them.
To use, simply rub a female flower with a paintbrush to get it sticky, then dip it in the pollen, and paint the flowers with it. Label the branches you pollinated so you know which ones are seeded.
