I noticed I started developing a dependency so I cut it out completely for a while.
I kept feeling like shit in the mornings at work, and If I consumed any caffeine I would instantly feel normal. Fuck that
I think I'm over it now.

I am planning a 40 day fast to try to quit. I will be taking a puff of pot every few hours. I've been smoking once or twice a week, trying to keep it special. I abuse coffee so bad it just eats me up.

My mom got organic artichokes with insect damage and I wrote this as a reply. you might find it interesting.
There is probably a good way to control insects organically. There is in almost every case. A lot of farmers in Europe are switching to organic because they think it will be mandatory at some point. The farm I worked on had a cover crop that was a haven for predatory insects like ladybugs, green lacewings and syrphid flies. None of the crops sustained any insect damage. I looked through the Seed Saver's Exchange book while I was on the farm and found a tomato that would set fruit in the high heat. Most of the tomatoes they tried wouldn't set fruit in the heat. Many of the seeds were advertised as growing into fungus resistant plants. You can take care of weeds by planting a smother crop like hemp or by watering a field and then turning it under a few weeks later to kill all the weeds. We did a lot of weeding on the organic farm.

45 days. I'm pretty sure I can do it. I was sober for the 45 day fast, too. Pot makes it much better for focus.

In 1997 I was 21 YO I was camping out in the forest illegally and was organic vegan and decided to fast. I wanted to fast longer but I felt genuine hunger.
I recommend an organic diet. I did it for about a year and a half. I was in Santa Cruz, California USA and it's a very progressive part of the World. It's right over the hill from San Francisco and shares a gay and psychedelic culture.

Speaking of caffeine, I'm done with energy drinks. Forever. Lately whenever I drink them, I swear I feel like I'm about to have a heart attack or something. And the extremely high level of caffeine just makes my anxiety shoot through the roof. Coffee too, but to a little bit of a lesser degree (still bad though).
I think I need to phase out caffeine altogether. I guess my body just wasn't built for it (caffeine).

I actually had to take a visit to the cardiologist recently over caffeine-induced per-ventricular contractions (PVC-basically a muscle in my heart squeezing when it shouldn't), which can result in arrhythmia and possible cardiac arrest if it gets bad enough.
At the time I was either consuming 3 large mugs of strong coffee or two 16oz energy drinks (between 160mg and 300mg each) every day. I had to quit energy drinks permanently, and can only have a small cup of coffee or black tea in the morning. I've been trying to ween myself off of caffeine completely, but that tiny cup of coffee is my reason for getting out of bed in the morning. 
Getting old sucks
