That's particularly hilarious that we associate potatoes with Ireland (for food) and eastern Europe (for spirits), when the potato is native to South America.

So if anything, I'm being racist by trivializing the horrors of disease and violence exchanged for potatoes in Latin America during the 16th century. :shrug:
