 Coworker... racist?

I work at a restaurant. It's pretty small and we have a hostess seating people, but if the hostess is busy one of my co-workers who has been there a while (5-6 years) will help seat people or direct them to friends/associates they might be meeting.
One day, there were two asian folk just sitting at a table of four, thus waiting for two to show up. Well, two more asian people walk in and my coworker walks them over to the two asians already sitting down.
All four gave him an combination of  and  faces. The two people who had walked in were actually meeting these two extremely old white ladys.
i have to say, it was turrible but

Of course it isn't racist. I would of first thought of it if I noticed they were of the same nationality, but I would of asked, or talked an answer out of them.
Your co-worker is just an idiot, maybe. She was probably tired, or was trying to break out because here bowels were stressing.

he had an entire section full of asians last month, too.
