No, a true 600w lamp would be overkill, and a cheap 600w wouldn't even be 600 watts.
Spiderfarmer, HLG quantum boards, or even the mars TS series would be best. You'll want at least 100 watts of the best diodes.
Otherwise, if you are able, there are many DIY options for a space that size.
If you have enough vertical space, a single one of these on an hlg 185 54a would crush it. If you're a bit more restricted in height, I would go with two of the qb 288 v1's, or four of the qb 132s. Many ways to go with this that would be better than a pre-made fixture.

So I would buy that LED board and attach it to the fixture?
The 96 elite engine comes with the heatsink for $70. You have to attach the board to the heatsink, with screws and a thermal pad. Then you have to wire up the driver. It's easy, but requires some knowledge and finesse. I hang my 96s individually with steel wire, but you could build a fixture with aluminum angle if you're so inclined.
I would get a larger tent, like a 2x4. That way you can get one at least 6 feet tall. I believe the 2x2s are only 4 feet tall. The 96s need to be about 18 inches from the canopy.
I can recommend a strain with very little stretch if you are interested.
