Starting from seed how long to make 40 clones?

title says it all.
I have  4 indoor plants started over a month ago getting 18-20 hours of light.
How long before i can take 160 clones for outdoor field.

That all depends on how it grows. You have one top, then each leafset makes a branch. So basically at least one clone per leaf on early growth on mainstalk. Then if they grow long you can turn them into about 3-4 cuts a leafset branch. I'd say at least 2-3 months. The least topping till clone the better, just rotate the Christmas tree.
