I have a 10x10 space, I have just cleaned and sanitized. I have hung panda film and I am installing the electrical and ventilation. I am going to be running 4k in a mixed spectrum I have 2 mh/hps digital ballasts and 4 led full spectrum lights. I have a 20k btu ac unit and roughly 900cfm exhaust capacity. I will be running soil in 5 gallon buckets.
My question is this should I split the space and effectively run two rooms at say 4x10 each (keeping my watt/sqft higher)or keep it one large room and let the light bleed over more? Thanks

Could split it up and have one for veg, one for flower. Depends what your going for I guess.
Post some pics when its done, sounds like a dope set up.

Wow I forgot I posted here. Lol I finished the space. I made one room. I have set it up to be able to adapt into 2 rooms later if I choose. I have forgotten how to post photos here. So hopefully I will remember how to do that and get sonevphotos of my space up before it is full of plants. I am pretty proud of this one.

1200 mh/hps
2400 led full spec.
1000cfm exhaust
14k btu ac
Titan controls helos 1
Titan controls environment controler.
I germinated several seeds from some personal stock I have been working for a few years. Bringing the HG to zona. Please feel free to comment

Sick set up dude! How much have you invested into the room?
I see you are using buckets.. any particular reason your not using mesh pots?
Looks good, one day when I'm in a spot I can light up I plan on having a set up similar to yours.
For now its just good old fashion outdoor growing for me.

Thanks man, Honestly I have always grown in buckets. I never considered switching just because they are always readily available and cheap. Mesh pots would obviously be a better route for a number of reasons. I am going to look into it further. Thank you.
As far as cost I am not sure. You could probably ask my wife and she could tell you down to the penny. I usually start an op out of frustration ie the price of medicine or the ability to obtain it. I am presently living in a medical legal state with a great dispensary system and same damn decent meds. But Due to life choices I live in the boonies making trips to the dispensary a pain in the ass. I also feel the price doesn't reflect the quality here. This is also an accumulation of gear over the last few years. over the 10 years I have been growing I know I have spent more then $8k in equipment. about 5 years ago I had some dude gank me for about 3k worth of gear. its a good thing he left the state before I found him. I have all the equipment to run multiple rooms. Ie clone veg and flower, I just don't think I will be doing that this time around. I am down to the end of my seed stock so I think I am going to do a couple breeding runs cross and some phenos I have been watching. I might even try to get a feminized run of seeds. I have always wanted to do that. we will see what happens. thanks for stopping by gents.
