THIS IS A MARIJUANA FORUM...

This is a MARIJUANA FORUM where people POST PICTURES OF THE MARIJUANA THEY GREW.

So WHY can I NOT request to trade or buy LEGAL CANNABIS SEEDS?

I do not understand the politics of this forum at all.

It's obvious that a vast majority of the forum members are smoking and/or growing marijuana, whether legally or illegally, so what is the problem in asking for seeds in a place where seeds are LEGAL?

There's also hundreds of threads of people ADVERTISING THEIR CANNABIS SEEDS.

I don't understand this one bit.

First of all, I am certainly NOT a cop.

Secondly, anyone who quotes Terrence McKenna is most likely a cop, as TMK was obviously a CIA agent.

Marijuana is not universally legal at the state level, completely not legal at the federal level, and not universally legal on the international level.

There is no good way to verify that all parties involved are in compliance with their local laws. The veritable legal clusterfuck in the US over marijuana, hemp, its production and sale means that it is much safer to just say "this is a forum for people who like to talk/dream about marijuana and other growables. We are probably just copy/pasting stuff we found off the interwebs (unless we are in a legal state), and we only trade universally legal shit".

Vendors are a different story, they pay to advertise here. They also have their own rules regarding the sale of items with geographically variable legality, and their own system of validating the legality of a transaction. There are rules for vendors as well.

At least, that's my take on it, I don't personally know the admins here, so I can't actually speak to their line of reasoning. It just seems logical to me :shrug:

But all of this is beside the point. The rules are there, in print, stickied to the top of the thread list. These rules were established by the admins at the time, and its your responsibility to read and follow those forum rules. It doesn't really matter how you interpret what you think is going on...the rules exist outside of your interpretation space. Membership is optional, and determined by whether or not you respect the rules of the forum. :pipesmoke:

If you see any non-vendors trying to sell or trade something that is obviously against the forum rules, report them. They will be seized and subsequently converted into fertilizer for Stoneth's next crop of ghost peppers.
