Regrowing from a stump

So there was this young cannabis plant I saw in the woods a while back. When I went to look at it again one day it has been either cut or eaten and only a small nub remained above the ground.

Would it be possible to save the genetics by taking a tissue culture or allowing it to possible sprout back? I was thinking a small amount of 10-10-10 with some agar?

You could but it would take 10 times the time then to just start from seed.

Ya u need ms salts and hormones with agar. There is no reason for this unless ur to young to purchase seedz.
