QUESTION 1: Is this a good way to store weed? To protect from mold growing any further.
I noticed a little white colored mold growing on a few of my buds. Should I clip the mold off and store the rest of the bud in my freezer?
I've read forum posts saying that storing weed in your freezer isn't a good idea because it drys out your weed (which creates shake). But I notice that whenever my dealer brings be a bag of bud, it's always really cold. So they keep their bud in the freezer or fridge (most likely in the freezer). And I never see any shake and the bud is never dry, not even slightly. And the quality is great.
I'm not going to be storing it for years. Maybe a week or two at the most. Should be fine, right?
QUESTION 1: How should I kill the mold, without hurting the quality or texture of my bud?
1) I think clipping any moldy pieces off and storing the good bud in the freezer is efficient and doesn't hurt quality.
What would you do if you had some white specs of mold growing? And you didn't want to hurt the quality or texture of your bud.

NOTICE: This bud has already been harvested and bought from a Hydro dealer. This isn't a cultivation question, though the methods of killing mold on buds that are growing rather than harvested are likely similar.

Mold on nug is no joke. I personally would toss it.
Unless you do an extraction and use a 0.2 micron filter there's no safe safe IMO to use that material.

grind it all up with a grinder
then take some aluminum foil, wrap it up so it's sealed and toss it in a toaster oven at 260 degree's Fahrenheit for 40 minutes
that should take care of it
but for future reference like others have said mold is pretty dangerous one spot means everything is infected
