Dehydrated Fruit
    #82333 - 07/13/08 06:27 PM (15 years, 8 months ago)

is really expensive, but really tasty.  Just picked up some banana and strawberry chips at the market.  Anyone else dig on the water free fruits?  I always bring a fuck ton with me when i go hiking, tastes great and gives you a nice little boost of energy for those long climbs.

Indeed, I've dehydrated my own fruits (both kinds;)) for a while now.

Makes for excellent healthy snacks.

I like the cracker dry strawberries, like the ones you find in cereal, but I don't like the partially dried ones. Too sticky.

I love that shit. I used to go hiking at least once a month and we would always make our own trail mix. Soooo good.

Maybe we can eventually put together a growery gathering, but I don't see it happening any time soon.

That's where the East TN Shroomery gathering was going to be, until YawningAnus fucked it up.

This is what would happen at the gathering:

People show up high, be awkward for a long time, then relax and let loose...and somehow Coaster ends up naked in bed with someone.
