What makes plants take longer?

Say two people attempt growing the same plant under the same lights in two different places. What are some reasons one might be harvestable in less than 8 weeks and the other isn't even looking like it will be ready by 10?
Same clones, light and nutes, multiple times. Fresh air in both.

Many factors can cause that situation. Such as environmental conditions, feeding habits, amounts, techniques, and times. Stress will slow a plant down dramatically as well.

Everything is exactly the same. Every aspect. What could it be? Only additional signs/info is the plants ready faster seem to dry out quicker, which doesn't even make sense. Temp and airflow seem like the only factors that could affect that and they're the same.

Its a balance of temperature and humidity at a given moment, not just a min/max on your display. If temperature is up and humidity is down the plant will suffer. Are you sure they have the same fresh air intake and exhaust?
Is nutrient runoff equal? pH or ppm?

I doubt every aspect is exactly the same. If it were, you're plants probably wouldn't be different.

So many possibilities. If all is the same exact for the care giver. Maybe the plants in question, just like one care giver more than the other. Could be he talks softer, handles them gentler, listens to better music, etc...

When you have exact conditions and clones from the same source and one garden seems to finish way faster esp if the buds from the faster finishing buds take less time to dry. That is cause they didn't get as far in building up bud structure before something happened and that is usually a male flower or two popping up and dropping pollen. That is gonna turn all the hairs red and slow the bud growth.
I'm gonna bet the longer to finish bud is going to be better in every way then the faster finishing version.
