Hi there!
Is anyone out there living in the US who has a MMJ card but is NOT a US citizen? I'm keen to find out more about if getting a card can have any ramifications for your visa status etc.
I'd love to hear your experiences and thoughts.

When I got mine some dude from Russia was getting it but he had green card.

Yeah, I think getting the card itself is no problem. I'm more concerned with what happens after when you need to renew your visa or leave the US and return etc.
Technically getting a card means you're breaking federal law right? And the feds control the visas. Has anyone been through this or know someone who has? I might be worrying about nothing but I thought I should ask around first.
Does your name go on some sort of federally-accessible database when you get a card?
Thanks for any light you can shed!

Yes technically everyone who has a med card and and consumes cannabis is breaking the federal law. But I don't know if there is a federal database. I know the certain verification sites (dispensaries call to make sure you're legit) will have a database of some kind. But I don't know if someone like the feds can access it without a warrant at least.

Ya don't think they can look that up. Only heard that it is hard to get a med card if ur not a resident as that is a requirement. But could always ask your Dr as they would have a better idea of the record keeping.
Why do u want to live in trump land anyway lol.
