I'm not sure if your calling the SEAL a dummy or not. Never the less, 30 rounds is a little over kill for an intruder. Not to mention the family members you have killed/maimed by firing a high powered rifle through the walls of your home. Don't get me wrong, I love the AR platform and machine 80% lowers on my mill and have built many AR's from the ground up. But... In the home? .45 or 2 3/4 slugs are what I rely on.

The amazing thing about firearms is, the less one understands about them and the dynamics of them, the more likely they are to be vocal about their opinions on all things ranging from practical use to gun control.
