And learned how impossible it is to plant lots of cactus seed with any sort of organization or pattern.
Maybe I'll build a seed-placing jig to plant a 20x42 seed grid in a seed-starting tray. That would really help you plant the highest seed density without risking local over crowding.

I have a group growing, but i somewhat neglected them so they arnt growing straight and fat. I also lost my loph.

ive been sproutin em from seed for years. (recently did 150 peyote)
Ive germinated without a heating pad, and with..... i recommend ordering one (cheap on ebay)

ya first 2 batches i did, i didnt use one and got very low germination....
But my last batch was prob close to 88-90% Germ rate (peyote) 
Now i got more cacti then i got room for 
did u make the soil? (i always do).
Biggest tip: get a spray bottle and use it often

I would love to see some pics.
I did mix my own soil, but I'm not sure if I chose a good mix. I took organic potting soil and cut it 50% with a 1:1 mixture of perlite and fine rounded stone.

Yall should have kept zombie around he's one of two people I've seen who can get fat seedlings going in mass with a quickness that nobody else can really match. Actually the other person I'm thinking of, his cacti were skinnier, so zombi3 takes first place. Yall should be nice to him yo. The niggas thumb is hella green.
