To start off I have been a member of shroomery for about 5 years(same username as the one I just made here). I came to this site in search o help. My life is in shambles, I'm 23 live in illinois , got fucked by financial dep. Of college and my life has been a series of unfortunate events since. Both my parents have cancer, I live with my great grandfather(89) and am taking care of him. Live in the middle of nowhere, the two closest towns are small and have no job oppertunities whatsoever. Which brings me to my point: my dream job is working with marijuana, I don't care how or what I would be doing, its just my dream job and I know it would help with my stress. I would drop everything, sell everything I own besides my sub par car, and go if someone here could point me in the right direction. Someplace like Colorado would be nice. I'm not looking for a handout just an oppertunity. Anyway thank you all who read this.
PS. I have around 5 years of mush cultivation and about 3 years with marijuana cultivation if anyone is looking for a dedicated assistant.

Start as a trimmer and work your way up. CrushNazT started as a trimmer. I think he is now a grower. Pretty sure he lives in CO.

I couldn't tell you tbh. But I would check Craigslist/cannabis friendly job boards.

Found some job listings on some other site but couldn't find any on CL. it wouldn't matter much anyway cos I would have no place to stay.....well maybe a campground? I have a 99 kia sportage which I could drop the back seats and make a little bed if necessary

You really don't need a badge unless you plan on working for a dispensary, albeit not entirely legal, you can find work.

Really? Man if I could find someone who already has it made and needs a roommate I would be their bitch, i would do anything they ask. I know nobody here knows me but i swear i am a good and loyal person. I put my friends and family above all.

I looked in Colorado springs craigslist but couldn't find anything, what would be a good part of Colorado to look at?

That area is very conservative from what I hear. I would look at Denver.

I disagree about the springs necessarily being a bad place to grow. I know 3 houses down by castle rock that all have over 15 lights in their basements.
I know a few growers who have gone south for lower rent and more square footage.
