god fucking dammit

It's 4am and i'm sitting in my second animal hospital of the night. Found out my dog is in dire need of a blood transfusion asap.
The next 8 hours are going to be a waiting game to see if this works.

thanks everyone. i just got a little sleep and still haven't heard back from the hospital. they said they'd call if he had any complications after the procedure, so i guess he's in the clear for now. gonna pick him up in an hour.

he's doing a little better. undergoing the second transfusion at the moment.

i'm all over craigslist now looking for more work to support his future treatments and medicines.

I lost my boy a few months ago, its been hard on the fam. After spending thousands of medical bills i decided to give up and put him to sleep. He was in alot of discomfort (extreme allergies), so i decided it was selfish for me to keep him around when he lost his hair, and would scratch till he was drippin blood. The steroids and drugs didnt help and the side effects where rough on him. I still regret putting him down in many ways....

Hope this second transfusion helps and is the end of the medical problems with him. :thumbup:

I hear ya and feel for you. I was one who wanted and still wants to rescue every animal I can. That's why I run a rescue I guess. Harder then hell when I loose one.
