Thanks everyone. I just got back from the vet to have him cremated. It's so still in the household without the pitter-patter of paws on the floor.

sorry for your loss brother.
I know your pain. i lost both my kids last year, and i raised them both from puppies .
It does get easier with time, but the pain will always be there...
