I play a ton of video games. Current and old.
I have over 700 games in my collection now. Shooting for a full n64 set. I have most of the rarer ones, just a matter of finding the Commons and dropping the cash on a few heavy hitters.
I also recently broke 100 nes games! Almost got 50 Genesis games.

i did play scarface and mafia 2 till i beat the game tho . I also like playin the wii mario games with the wife

Man, I had all the consoles starting from the NES to the N64 with a shit load of games when I was younger. Traded and sold magic the gathering cards to fund it. Then my stepmother sold them all for crack, along with my bike, antique furniture that was keepsake from my grandmother, and my tv.
I don't really like the direction gaming developers are going these days. Games don't really have any heart and soul anymore. I'm glad the indie developers are gaining some traction.

I liked the gameplay for BF3, but I gave up after so much frustration of having to reboot my console or getting booted after 2 matches. I won't ever buy another EA or Activision game again.

I disagree. You won't see ps3/xbox360 roms for awhile. So "hard" mods will always be the best way to pirate games. Also with the Xbox you can play burned games and still play online without a ban. Something you probably will never be able to do with a emulator.

So speaking of games anyone play gta heists? I stopped playing a few weeks ago because how shitty it was. The heists missons were sick. But you end waiting forever to wait.for 4 players and if someone leaves mid mission you have to wait for another person to join. Not.to mention its near impossible to communicate with people wih no mics.

I didn't ever play uncharted until the third one came out. The last of us was one of the best games I played in years. Once I finally decide to get a ps4, I want the remastered version. Haven't played through the DLC, so it gives me something to look forward to.
The games I have an unnatural obsession over is monster hunter and the souls series. Games are way too casual these days. It gets so disappointing when hardly any games offer a glimpse of a challenge.

ive played all the way from nintendo threw now current games systems. i do agree that now adays games dont have the depth that they had to for a real store and its all about looks and thats about it. pluse i just dont have the time now adays to spend a whole weekend playing a game. (girlfriend aggro)
but with having less time though, games do last me alot longer now. hell i have 4 games for my xbox 1 that i still have to beat and 2 of them i have not even started lol.

Most games do not implement this very well though. I don't want something to take 30 more bullets to the head. I want the game to surprise me with real challenges. I can turn the difficulty up on skyrim for example, but it only increases the HP and damage of my enemy. It doesn't change anything else about the gameplay. I'm absolutely tired of all the military shooters these days. It's where the money is though, so I don't expect things to change anytime soon.

I just finished a game from the ps360 era called singularity. It was surprisingly awesome. I grabbed it for like 2.50 on sale at gamestop.
Started the battlefield 3 campaign. I hate these games but play the campaigns when I get them cheap. Buy 4 for $10 sale lol.
Killing time waiting for the Witcher 3. Fuckin stoked on that.

Anyone here play any PC games? And I have a PS4 and it is awesome so anyone that is currently "waiting for a good game" or "thinking about it" I would suggest getting it and trying a couple of the games that are already out for it! Plus Borderlands is out for ps4!

Since the last of us, I haven't played anything else on console. The ps4 doesn't interest me yet and I refuse to buy more microsoft products. A single new title and two remasters are not enough to constitute making a purchase. Silent hills was promising, but I'm sure everybody knows about that already lol. Quote:

Sorry you feel that way. I play Halo and it is the hardest competitive game I have played. The amount of teamwork you need to beat these Pros who are pretty much Navy Seals inside a Halo game is ridiculous. The coordination and tactics/team shots are on another level. It isn't like call of duty where you can kill someone in 2 shots in the leg LOL. idk, I think there is a reason Halo pros go to COD and become top tier pros but COD pros that go to Halo never make it anywhere. It is just more competitive/harder. That is why I respect halo

I liked both the early CoD games and early halo games. Honestly, I'm more of a co op kind of gamer rather than competitive. Sooo many hours spent on Final Fantasy XI online. I think Planetside 2 is a lot of fun too. Its just that all of my friends that do still play it are on different factions and servers. It just how there isn't anything I like to play these days that my friends also play. It's either go mainstream, or GTFO lol.

You just gotta meet people online and play with them. same shit lol... I don't play halo with people i know in real life. Sometimes I do. but not 9/10 out of the times. Technically I know the people on another level who I play with, we are essentially friends and we are planning on a trip to a casino sometime and what not, mad chill peeps who are on my competitive halo team.

I constantly die and the leveling system...
I could play it on the easiest setting technically, that's what my friend does
I have it on p.c. though so I can't sell it
I didn't like red dead redemption either
I played GTA because the story was fun and I liked driving around getting in trouble
and I played darks souls 2 because well the hit boxes where better

Just play on Easy if you have to Witcher was fucking fantastic yo. I can't wait for dlc and I'm not someone who has ever bought any dlc.
It's hard end game I'm level 35 or 34 and there's nothing worth doing bc all the quests are so low level.

Well i was able to get a copy of fallout 4 pip-boy edition cant wait.. and now will deffently want to get the new mass effect as well.

I got in on the collectors edition. I wanted mine from gamestop so I could grab it at midnight but I did a backup order on Amazon first. Good thing I did, I heard gamestop sold out 10 minutes after opening.
