so i have the fox farm trio and cal/mag, on top of my alage control and ph stuff and stuff. How exactly does cal/mag come into play and when do i use it? Might be a dumb question, just thought since i had the trio, what do i need the cal/mag for?

i never used there nuit line but i would assume that like most lines they dont include enough or any calmag in there nuit lines so that is why alot of people add it in.

you use it the whole time minus the flush, even when you just water with no nutes use the calmag 
exception - well water usually has high Cal so watch for that if you have well water.

I guess it depends on your medium. You will need the cal/mag for coco for sure. Also good to have if using RO water.
