So I have a little 4 inch tall 1 week old fella with the original 4 "leaves". It had been doing well until it was put in a box lined with tin foil, left there for a few hours, easily got up to 120 F. The leaves folded up together, and the stem bent and broke where it meets the soil. It is now propped up and under much cooler lights.
Is it too late? I think it was cooked and it is now over. There was also a seed germinating under the same conditions, yet to sprout though... is it also screwed?
Will post pics soon. Has been at 75 F with proper distance to light for about 12 hours without any signs of improvement. That's what you get for only having 2 bag seeds to invest..
It's shot. When the stem breaks near the soil that is usually cause the soil was kept to wet.
You'll get here soon Just don't rush things and don't kill with kindness. By that I mean rushing to start feeding and watering to much. Those are usually the first rules new growers break.

Yeah I didn't overwater or give it any nutes, just plain soil. In the end i (stupidly) surrounded them with tinfoil, without any ventilation, with a very hot light, and nuked the fuck out of em.
