First of all, !  That's not a problem at all!  That's what you should want.....low temp dabbing is where the taste is.  The higher the dabbing temperature the more terps/flavinoids you are burning off.  But i have a solution to your 'problem'! if that happens again, where the oils not burning because its not hot enough, then just place something obstructive over the top of the nail, like a quarter.  it'll act as a convection oven and heat up the oil enough to vap it.  it's called a carb cap.  they are used with low temp dabs. 

The advantage beyond just getting you really high is that that high is usually a more clear headed / less groggy high.  the high also lasts a LOT longer.  If I take 4 avg dabs in 20 minutes i will be high for the rest of the day.  there is no way, besides eating it, that i could be that high for that long by smoking flower.  the disadvantage is primarily the market and the knowledge base of producers, 'experts', and consumers.  The market is full of 'extract artists' who use shitty equipment in terrible conditions, with no scientific knowledge of what they are producing.  It is super easy to make bad bho.  id recommend staying away from most shatters too.  the process used to make shatter traps in residual butane and other nasty byproducts that need to be professionally purged out.
