Hey so I was curious if any has heard of or had success cloning with just a stem/cane placed in media and kept moist? The idea would be the nodes would produce roots and the plant would sprout ya? and possible divided further?

I personally only ever heard of cutting of a branch of a decent size plant taking that branch and cutting all the lower branches of of the branch and then cut off all the tips of the leaves and you have to use some kind of solution then you ust put it in a pot and grow it like a normal cannabis plant and there you go you got some ganja!

While anything is worth a try (well almost anything), unless there is at least one leaf it seems doubtful. One leaf on a cane with a node, usually little leaves come out of the node while the leaf dies. It takes a while, but eventually is pretty strong since the cane, unless too big and woody which doesn't work as well, was a solid little stick that makes for a solid big stem.
Or something like that.
