That stuff looks more like the fiber on the right rather then the coir on the left. Their taking advantage of those that don't know the difference.

The GH and Botanicare blocks are what I've had Experiance with and they were over 10$ a piece. The GH had way more pith which I see mag doesn't like. I personally saw stronger roots that followed the thick strands of coco. What's your take on it mag?

I can't make the call on coir. I fully hate both versions of it for growing plants. I've had great results with it and have seen others with killer results also but for some reason I just hate the shit.

The one that expands to about a wheel barrow full? Appx 12X12X4" size? I worked at a shop and my cost was 5-7$ depending which we had.

Yeah those pet shop ones are a good 1/4 the size of the hydro shop ones. This size fills a 40 gallon res when I hydrate it and mix it. Not all the way but Damn full.

then I misread where it says "3 or 4 gallon grow bags"
I thought that was the expanded sized, not the compacted size

I grow a shitload of mushrooms too :smile: they are getting bought out in a couple days. And yeah they are 12"x12"x4"-5" thick and only a small amount is pith stringy stuff. Total fucking score.
