My girl's family dog passed on a few weeks ago. Although it was expected, her dad is real broken up about it. I had the pleasure of watching after her daily. We would take drugs and watch Netflix. Good memories.

Yeah, shit sucks.
A few years ago our dog died. It was my kids puppy. Shitty story too.
We were in the process of moving so my chicks mom said she would watch the dog for a month while we got shit situated. She ended up giving our dog to one of her friends because she was responsible for the death of her friends dog. A few weeks later the mom told us that our dog died because she tried running away and was hit by a car. We found out a year later what had really happened. I went to the friends house banging on doors trying to get the dog back but the friend said she had died from an infection.
It was a really shitty situation. We do not speak to the mom, at all. We pretty much disowned her.
