I grew a few plants back when the site first launched. Got to know the community. Ended up meeting a handful of members in my travels around the states. ....and planning on meeting more so i can feed off your souls. :hehehe:

Been on Shroomery since like fucking '95. Many many puppets ensued while trying to find myself. But, I didn't find me. I never will. A person is always growing and developing and dying. I forgot we are alive! We grow, respond to stimuli, and reproduce! Adapting at all times. One cannot find themselves because the self is always changing.

Like a the whisking wind.

Like an eagle.

Like a Koopa.

Once I realized that, I committed to Koopa. Koopa has taught a lot. We, Koopa and I, are what the pubbers can on fantises the slightest comprehension of: enlightened. Through and throughout. So, once that typing beast of a piece of shit banned me permanently 5 years back, I didn't go seeking puppets because I'm loyal to the Koopa. And shroomery is shit so I didn't feel too bad about the ban. I also had a growery account that I avoided because it was fucking hella insane when it was a toddler. The crowd was like the ODD mixed with that ugly fat guy from that one band that tours a lot. I don't know the name and I don't care to Bing it. Anywho, add some Tom Green and a little Carl Sagan on a shot H during a LSD peak and you've got this place.

Really intimidating. But, I once I got settled in, I felt the love of what an online community is supposed to be. A really tight hug gripped me even in the beginning my relationship with Growery. If you would check my early ratings, you'll see how accepting this place was and is. Truly amazing community, and I will poast here until I die in a drunk driving accident. :heart:

Came here to learn how to grow.
The help has been great.
Got soil down but want to go hydro. Working on that as I can.
Paying bills and for operations( old age) slows that down, and not being able to grow in summer(heat).

The Shroomery was a nice resting place but this is home.

First it was because of the sticker competition held like two years ago. For the most part I hadn't smoked actual weed for a couple years at the time, switched to synthetics. Which, by the way, I quit shortly after the sticker comp due to legality and other reasons.

Now because I got banned from the Shroomery.

I have a lot of interest in concentrates, and saw the subforum, so I plan on popping through more often. :thumbup: Also seems more laid back than the Shroomery, too bad there isn't a more active userbase. :sad:

I was super faded 4/20/08 and my buddy who I did quasi-legal things with and met on the shroomery and lived near called me and was like 'yo the growery opened'. And I said 'omg thats cool but im super faded ill join another time'. he was like 'really? you don't want a 4/20 OG reg date for a weed website?'. So then I thought about it and it clicked and I joined.

I had been on the shroomery for a year or two prior and had some grows under my belt. Then I met prolly half the OGs from the growery and many ended up being large parts of my life. After meeting so many of you guys in real life this just became like a second home, and even when im away or in jail for long periods of time this is the first place I come back to. Even though most of the people I came up with dont come around any more.

But I still like most of you guys. But so many come and go I honestly dont make much of an effort to learn the new people until they make an impression on me.

But yeah, i love the growery. Its my internet home. Even though I rarely smoke and dont grow.
