 Just powdered my females with male pollen..how long before I can let the rain hit them?

So here is my question
Say a guy was growing indoors and he had wonderful huge female plant and he wanted to get seeds ( lots of them).
So lets say he takes a male plant that is loaded with pollen and beats the fuck out it over the budding ( week into flowering) female plants.
Watched the big pollen cloud lower over the female. 
So how long should he wait before I spray the plants down?
He wants to wash the bug killer off the plants.
Last week he had a nasty infestation of something eating the leaf, and because they are seed plants he just used some "Bug be gone" on them.
He just got today some Lady bugs, and wanst to wash the plants so the lady bugs can take over and roam around the plant room as part of my bug defense. I am hoping to raise ladybugs.
How much time, days, etc....should he wait after pollinating the females before he can spray down the females to remove any old bug spray?
