Colorado is an amazing state, I'm stuck a state away for the next 7-8 years. If you don't want to stay where you are it's a great place to go.

I don't know myself, but I know multiple people in Co. area. if they respond to me messaging them I'll let you know. Other posters should also know the rough amount. Craigslist can probably give you a rough idea.

a one bedroom would probably run an average of $6-700
aurora is alright. i hear its kinda ghetto. im usually super baked when im up in denver so i never know where i am lol. i survive off of GPS out here for the most part.
couple things to consider, denver has a ban on pit bulls, so keep that in mind if you're a dog/pitbull person. that might be denver county, not just the city. also in the denver city limits, there is a 12 plant per household limit, no matter how many adults live in the house, and it doesnt matter if you have a higher plant count apparently. that doesnt apply to aurora though, so if you can grow whatever you're allowed to there without a stupid city ordinance.
recreational MJ is legal here, but not all cities allow recreational sales. denver obviously does, but the assholes in city council here in colorado springs banned rec sales. we might get to change that in april though with a vote.
