Acclimating an outdoor plant to HPS
    #732841 - 05/24/14 04:06 PM (9 years, 10 months ago)

Here is a thought ......

I am thinking of vegging a plant outdoors until July 1st, and them moving it indoors under HPS so I can flower it, and do other wonderful things to it ....like getting some good quality seeds.

I could do it outdoors.....but the world is thick with thieves.

What is better?

Just to keep it outdoors.......or

bring it in, and put it under the flowering lights of the grow room?

I just don't want to deal with stunting it's growth too much..

If that's your ONLY plant I say go for it . Just veg the plant for few days to a week  before you flip to let it adjust to the hps lighting.  But really if you plan on finishing the plant inside you might as well run the full veg cycle there also

I would not bring it inside If you have other plants in the same building that you'll be bringing the outdoor plant into. It wouldn't be worth the risk of introducing insects and other nasty shit to your entire indoor grow.
