changing light wattage veg2flow would that screw with plant?

I currently have a 130w cfl and 3x18w cfls for vegetative state.. what i want to know is if i put a 400w hps/mh for flowering would that fry the plants?

im under the assumption it shouldn't really matter?
(if anything be beneficial)

but just too make sure i thought id ask..

You should be able to upgrade without issues, so long as your bulb is not too close and you make sure to have adequate ventilation for the hotter equipment.
