Was really surprised and happy. My firstish realish job. I need the money! 
I start tomorrow. Excited and nervous.

Ive repeatedly been told that I "look like a felon," so there's that
I want to get a job in construction at some point but I dont have any experience so no one will hire me
I am going to start saving money for welding school starting this next paycheck... 100$ a paycheck into a school fund, i should be able to afford it by the time I turn 40

38hrs a week, we only work till noon on friday, and weekends off

My wife just got offered a permanent position where she works at today. I'm incredibly proud of her. They offered her the job based on her personality and work ethic. That's the shit, she's a good woman.

ya man. trades are where the real money is (red seal sheet metal worker makes 35-45hr). jobs are a dime a dozen....
secret to gettin a trade job is a sick cover letter. i wrote and rewrote it for days, then had my wife rewrite a few times too..... Till it sounded perfect.
basically it tells the trade company why they should take a chance on you as a level one apprentice. entry level trade workers dont ever have real experience in the trade. so the cover letter is key. u work for 9 months a yr, go to school for 2 months... till you pass level 4, then your "red seal"

You nigger nuggets crack me up
Basically they accidentally hired 2 people at the same time and when I showed up for my first shift they told me, and said I was out of the job.
When I asked to speak to the guy who hired me they were extremely rude and called security .... It was really weird and fucked up. I bought nice shoes, clothes, and everything- was even 30 minutes early.
So I got the corporate headquarter number and am in the process of talking to customer service...
Hopefully I'll get something out of if- a job maybe, or maybe just coupons. But those employes who were so irresponsible and rude should get what they deserves. One of them even fell alseep and left me on hold for 20 minutes

I live in BFE, it's a 1 hour bus ride to get into town.. that's my biggest problem.. they only run 4 buses to my town and the last one runs at 3pm.. so my lady has to pick me up in the evening but the 1st bus doesnt get up into town til 11am... and doesnt run on Sundays
It is what it is, I will just have to put in some hours at work, hopefully get this permit, then get my license and go from there.. it's a work in progress

Yeah I can see you working at Abercrombie much more than I ever could at GNC... they usually dont hire skinny young dudes who dont look like they know anything about body building or physical fitness
Good luck, in terms of job difficulty it doesnt get much easier than working in clothing retail.
I am working on my cover letter tonight and then probably going to spend my day off Sunday applying for more jobs.. Would be tits to find something either full-time or even a job I can work 2-3 days a week and pick up an extra 15-20 hours at

I only work till lunch tomorrow then its the weekend  (we always work half days on fridays... and usually have a beer or 2 before we fuck off for the weekend)
Fuck i cant wait till i can finish my level one (about 40-42 more weeks). then ill be making like $23 hrs, then level after that is $27
Im glad im getting lotsa shop time, as well as working on site. Its cool shit taking a sheet of metal and making ducts and basically anything anyone wants with it.
Im telling u guys.... get into a trade. its where the cash is. and once you got your ticket you fucking laughing!!!!!

I get paid tomorrow, which is nice.. Definitely picking up a 6 pack
I am going to get into a trade but I got to get a few other ducks in order first... I get my drivers permit in 2 weeks which is the next step in the process.

Sold a small const. job today
Only a couple of weeks work but better than nothing.
It pays bills.
